We all slept very well in our new beds and got up early in the morning. After breakfast (cornflakes!) we decided to check out the gym and study rooms. The apartments are divided into towers (one, two and three) and in order to get to the gym we had to cross the balcony to tower one (we were in three). Unfortunately the door to the gym was broken and the study rooms weren’t that special but the view from the balcony was amazing!
I brought the wrong cable for the Canon camera (I sure hope it’s not a cable my sis uses frequently, hah) and since we planned to go to the city anyhow, I figured I could just buy one. Besides, we needed to rent bikes too. The weather was great (hot…) so a perfect opportunity to check out the shops of Ferrara. Unfortunately, we forgot about the afternoon breaks and pretty much ended up empty handed. D’oh. Oh well, at least we got to see the shops (sort of…).
We did find one more interesting thing though: a red couch. Too bad we couldn’t take it with us. Sorry, inside joke for my med colleagues:
It was time to buy some groceries and cook for ourselves. We wanted to make wraps but we ended up eating the meat only because the wraps pretty much fell apart when we touched them…Again, the price we pay for cheap wraps.
[insert photo Tessy here ;p]
The night ended with a movie: the Invention of Lying. As a side note: it’s a movie with good morals but poorly executed, unfortunately.
